General Questions

All of our courses can be attended by individuals, local businesses, professionals, employed or unemployed as well as staff and students from the College or University. We do not provide any kind of visa related letters for international students. You can only attend a course if you are eligible to study in the UK.

By basic computing knowledge we mean that someone should know how to start a computer, create a new document, how to edit an existing document, how to save a document etc. If you know how to work in MS Word and basic MS Excel than you have the basic computing knowledge.

All of our one day, or longer, courses include refreshments. You can bring your lunch with you. We have microwave oven in the kitchen. There are many fast food shops around the training centre.
You may find free parking near by on Sundays. We suggest you to try to find the free parking near the police station (post code E15 4SG) or School21 (post code E15 4RZ) which are just 5-10 minutes walking distance from our training centre.
We provide laptops to our students to be used during the course. The laptops have all the required software packages installed.
Yes, you can use your own laptop. You may need to download and install required software for the course you are attending. Please check the course page or contact us about it if you don’t know which software you need.

Fees and Payment

Yes you can pay by cheque. Make your cheque payable to London Academy of IT Ltd; cross it A/C payee only. Send the cheque to London Academy of IT, Unit 17 (Ground Floor), Boardman House, 64 Broadway, Stratford, London E15 1NT. We do not accept post-dated cheques.
You may pay your course fee through a simple bank transfer from your current account, over the phone or online. We don't charge for this facility, but you should check with your bank or building society concerning any charges or terms and conditions that might apply. Here is our bank account details:

Yes, but you have to inform us at least 2 weeks before the course start date and £20 will be deducted as admin charge.
You can pay us on line through PayPal. It is a secured transaction process and you should not have a PayPal account to pay by using your debit or credit card. You can also make payment by other methods like cheque or bank transfer. Please contact us if you choose other method instate of PayPal.

We provide 10% discount to:

  • your next course with us (after paying normal price for a course or package)
  • full-time students in UK (you need to show us proof of your full-time studentship)
