Younus Kazi is a lead IT instructor, software developer, and applied AI practitioner with over 20 years of experience in software development, database-driven systems, data analytics, educational technology, and technical training.
As the lead trainer at London Academy of IT, he has been teaching and mentoring learners since 2012. He has helped students, career-changers, managers, university staff, and corporate teams develop practical, career-ready skills in programming, business intelligence, data analytics, and artificial intelligence.
Before dedicating himself to training, Younus worked as a software developer, building database-driven web applications, dashboards, reports, and business systems using technologies like C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript, SSIS, and SSRS. This robust industry background allows him to teach using real-world workplace examples rather than relying purely on theory.
Younus holds a BSc (Hons) in Computing and Information Systems, an MSc in Data Analytics, and an MBA from London Metropolitan University. Through these disciplines, he developed strong technical skills in software development, systems analysis, machine learning, and forecasting. His MBA also provided valuable knowledge in business strategy, leadership, and organisational decision-making, helping him bridge the gap between technical solutions and real business needs.
