Data & AI Discovery is a practical 1-hour introductory session designed to help learners understand the key technologies, tools and learning pathways used in modern Data and Artificial Intelligence.
During the session, participants will be introduced to Artificial Intelligence, SQL, Python and Power BI, with simple demonstrations showing how these technologies are used for data analysis, reporting, automation and AI-powered applications.
The session also introduces the software and tools used across our Data and AI courses, explains different learning and career pathways, and provides an overview of the London Academy of IT learning environment.
Participants will receive access to our online learning platform at lait.co and a free account on our online SQL practice platform at sql.lait.co, allowing them to explore the learning environment and continue practising after the session.
The session consists of approximately 45 minutes of instructor-led introduction and demonstrations, followed by 15 minutes of questions and answers.
